Integrative Diagnosis is a state-of-the-art soft tissue technique that provides an accurate diagnosis, based on the patient’s history, a functional evaluation, and soft tissue health/pathology. We start by taking a full comprehensive history, deliver a report of findings that educates the patient on their specific problem(s) and the exact pathology that caused the problem(s) to occur. Once a proper diagnosis has been made, we perform tissue specific treatment based on the affected problematic area(s). After we restore proper function to the previously painful or affected area(s), we apply specific strengthening exercises to restore strength back to the region(s) to prevent future damage or reoccurrence. Integrative Diagnosis has proven to be a unique technique for treating soft tissue or sports related conditions other techniques fail to fix or resolve. Dr. Eidsvig is currently the only Integrative Diagnosis doctor provider in the state of Texas, and is fully certified to treat all sports and spinal related injuries.
If you experience pain during sports, exercise, work, or daily activities then you are a candidate for Integrative Diagnosis treatment. Understanding your time is valuable, Dr. Eidsvig focuses on treating the source of your pain, not just the symptoms.
Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) is a soft tissue technique focusing on treatment of the entire painful area, with an abundant amount of soft tissue therapy, resulting in less effective results, more visits, wasted time and money, and a lack of relief a patient experiences. Integrative Diagnosis℠ focuses on an accurate diagnosis with precise treatment to the injured region that drastically reduces the amount of money and time a patient spends recovering and getting back to activities he/she loves.
It’s great you take responsibility for your health and are treating problems conservatively before they get worse; however, you may need to see Dr. Eidsvig if you are not improving with your current method of treatment; or you have improved, but are not back to full activity without pain. Dr. Eidsvig is highly skilled at restoring function first and foremost so you don’t experience pain performing your daily activities, exercise, work, or sports. Think of it this way, if your problem requires a certain type of treatment or treatment to a specific area of the body and it’s not being addressed, it likely won’t fully resolve. “You can’t hammer a nail effectively with a screwdriver.
